Ask Priceline.com to find one for you. I did, and they found one the next day in the LA area (close enough to San Diego for me) at MSRP. It will be delivered 7/28, and they only charge $50.

I'm picking up my S2K this Friday and paid $31,500 . Yes it's brand new! I went to Honda's Official automobile shopping site, www.eHonda.com, requested for a Price Quote and credit pre-Approval. Try it out.

I got a phone call within 24 hours from the dealership that had the car in stock. I was immediately offered MSRP. I was so tempted to accept -- I held back. Within 3 days of phone negotiations I was able to get that good offer. I'm guessing that they were willing to give a good "deal", because I came through the Official Honda website and they had 5 S2000s on the lot.

I purchased my car from Coral Springs Honda and I heard from another local that Maroone Honda was willing to deal at a fair price too. I've also had good dealingswith Rich Lemaire at Largo Honda. Give him a call, it can't hurt.

The Miami-Dade area is a tough one for good deals, but the market has softened somewhat for the S2000 so you should be able to get one for MSRP ... or even slightly better. It often comes down to how good you are at negotiating and how much they want to make the deal.

Even if you get it, DO NOT take it to Braman Honda for service. When my car broke down and was towed there, they tried to screw me for 3 times what actually needed to be done ($380 for a blown radiator hose and thermostat??!?!?). When I asked them to itemize everything, magically 30% of the cost disappeared. After I vetoed the bullshit charges, I had it down to $187.

I picked it up, and it immediately overheated again. Seems that some idiot didn't bleed the air out of the cooling system??? so here I was ANOTHER day with no car in a strange city... I screamed until they gave me half of my money back, making sure they knew that Honda was getting a letter, as well as a hideous review on Honda-Acura.net (the board of choice back then). I posted my story on EVERY model forum!

I wouldn't trust them with ANYTHING, and I wouldn't let anyone I care even slightly go there without a warning against it.

I got mine for a GREAT price at Maroone Honda. Ask for Justino Anell or his sales partner Chris S. Tell him Tommy with the new Yellow S2000 sent you. I believe they have a black in stock. They will treat you fairly.

I would avoid Braham Honda completely, they quoted me $42K. When I told them that Maroone quoted me MRSP, the sales rep literally laughed in my face and told me to come back when I was more of a serious buyer! LOL! I laughed my ass right out their door... and wrote a nice little letter to American Honda voicing my "concern". By the way, they have plenty of S2000's in stock. Hmmmm... wonder why? Braham SUCKS!!!

South Motors Honda is also pretty good (not sure if they are doing MRSP), they have a red and a silver in stock. Also I believe another local (CoralDoc) got his for MRSP in Coral Springs Honda. I personally never dealt with them but that sounds pretty good.

Anyway good luck!
