Actually somebody tried this a while back - don't remember who but I do have pics.
I believe he bought them at Autozone. Supposedly they come in three sizes and these are the middle ones.

I put these on the front after seeing the original post. They've done more damage than if I hadn't installed them. They have worn through the paint down to bare metal underneathe the flap.

I just recently made my own.

I had to do something to eliminate the abuse the front rocker arm was taking from stones and stuff coming off the front tire.

These are subtle and extremely effective, just what I wanted.

Please tell me you're kidding about putting mud flaps on your car.
Shoot, I had the Honda OEM splash guards on my 97 Prelude and there are some on my wife's TSX right now. Done right, they look fine. Honda usually does a good job making them small and inoffensive. You can even paint them with a flex additive.

I have noticed that the front wheels of the S2K can throw up crap along the whole side of the car, far too much to cover with paint protection film. I'd feel better blocking the source of the debris blast anyway.

That looks like a great option if I can't find any pre-shaped ones specifically made for the car. What kind of material did you use -- straight up rubber sheet?

That sucks, and is known to happen with generic shaped flaps. OEM Honda flaps usually have a much smaller overhang onto the body to minimize contact with the paint, but they do caution to wash/wax under the flaps every so often.

I imported some Prodrive flaps from the UK for my WRX, and they actually had adhesive to seal the gap between the flaps and body.

If they wanted to waste money, they could have just given me 50 bucks to kick them in the nuts.

If you look at the back of a Jag XK8R convertible you will see a rubber lip that sticks out about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and is flexible. This is the same type of flap on the new ZO6. It is held on by 3M tape and clips that I would not use. Went to Jag to price them out and holy s**t! They are $80 a piece

I did the same thing on my Viper. Although it was hard to shield all the crap that those 335s threw up, they did help immensely. The S2000, however, has actually fared quite well without them (except for the side strakes getting blasted).

Looks like the mudflap fitment is workable. But how do you mount the matching gunrack?
