I had mine on a dyno last Saturday and there was 4 hp difference. That may be on the low side of gains. It is definately a performance enhancing part as long as you can get 96 octane or more in your fuel. The more octane the better.

I don't believe the full throttle maps need any learning. We removed the Mugen and put in the factory ECU. Started it up and ran it for a couple of minutes and then tested it. Factory ECU was 4 hp less.

Sideways - not true, I've discussed this in another thread with UL. Even with the stock ECU you need time to let adapt to your car. If you unplug it, it loses its fuel trim numbers. Therefore the ECU would not be running at it's optimal settings. So just swapping and dynoing will not yield the desired results.

Sideways' car is one strange one. 240 wheel hp... how is works with fresh ecu... all mysteries.

I don't think anyone even came close to Sideways' readings on the same dyno.
