Default mugen hardtop fitments

how is the mugen hardtop fitment is it dead on or is it bad fitment? I am at the point of purchasing one but need to make sure if mugen hardtops have good fitments. Also, are replicas have bad fitment too?

Fitment is not typically a problem for a Mugen HT however don't count that possibility out. It is not as universally proven as an OEM. A bigger issue I would think is that for the money, visibility isn't nearly as good as OEM and there is no defroster option.

yeah that is what I was thinking too, the defroster is a plus with the oem.

I personally think the OEM is really ugly.
I love how the Mugen flows with the body lines

Weird, I think the exact opposite. The Mugen looks terrible to me.

agreed. the mugen creates a massive blindspot due to the small rear window.

OEM hardtop has the greatest visibility, and looks the best when paintmatched

the mugen looks silly with the 2 tone. someone should really create a mugen style hardtop with quarter windows. it would sell like hotcakes

Quarter windows on the Mugen style hardtop would be money. We'd finally have a place to put all of our track stickers!

compared to soft top mugen window is great, its about twice the size of the glass soft top. i have vis replica of the mugen top and fitment and value is great although id go with a glass rear window rather than the plexiglass that is included. and i agree that the oem top is a bit ugly, reminds me of the miata hardtop

My VIS mugen fits perfect. The hardest part is probably applying the seals and lining everything up.

BTW what hardware kit are you getting/have?
