I have a question. I bought 2 Mugen S1 seats and Mugen brackets. The thing is they are Civic type R brackets. I took out my OEM seats and checked and looked at both brackets/rails. Anyway it looks like the OEM brackets will work with the red Mugen seat bracket. Does anyone know if they will actually work? I am going to work on it tomorrow. But the part numbers are only like 4 letter/numbers off. Its actually a perfect match. Everything measured out perfectly. I will post on Monday if it works out.. I am just trying to save $800.

I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. LOL

They are black and grey. Nice suede/cloth seats. If I get them into the car tomorrow then I will post pictures next week. The big question is will they fit with the 6 point Cusco cage I have with hardtop. That's what I am worried about. BozzPerformance and Bulletproof both say they will. So that's good news. I have 15 more days until I find out. I will be out on the 28th of Sept for the JDM vs EDM competition. I was at the drift session last week and saw your s2k. I waited around for you for about an hour then left. You never showed up? Anyway are you heading out then too?

Well the seats are in the car after an afternoon of modding the S2000 brackets with the civic brackets. The good news is I dont have to spend $700+ on Mugen brackets. The civic brackets work just fine. I will get pictures up as soon as my cage gets here and my J's goodies... Having had the Spoons I have to say the comfort is about the same. The Mugens have more flex as the Spoons did not have any...

Damn, Chris. You change your stuff so fast, don't let me miss the Mugen seats when you tire of them.
Can't wait to see them in your "S"

No worries. I am going to hold off on pictures because I want to post pictures of the Mugens and Cusco setup. Once my 6 point cage gets here and installed (which has an ETA of 10 days from tomorrow) I will get plenty of pictures up.
