Default Mugen(style) hood...

I purchased a CF MG style hood. But its been raining a lot here in Tx recently. Is there any danger of water affecting the motor?

You should be fine, but it will probably get pretty dirty.

Mugen has built in channels to allow the water to drain, but the Seibons do not . I dont think a little water will hurt anything (as long as you did not mount any electronics where they will get wet)

you should be fine i hose my vent and nothing happen.... make sure you dont have some kind of intake that will sucked up water from the vent...

i have the mugen intake so it hides underneath so water is no danger ....

No electronics at all. Just worried about the engine in general...
