What's the point of revving an engine to 18,000 when the LS7 makes the same power at 7000 rpm?

You'd think Mugen out of all tuners would be able to extract a little more than 500 hp out of that v8, especially one that costs about ENTIRE PRICE of a C6 Z06 car.

LS7 = ~$20k (if I'm not mistaken)

Spend a few grand on headers, straight pipe exhaust, cam, tune, and you'll have an engine that will dominate your beloved Mugen v8.

I love Honda as much as the next s2k owner, but please, I can't believe people would sackride this $70k engine that makes the same amount of power as one that costs less than half of that just because it's a "Honda."
