I'm in the market for an '04 Mugen exhaust. Hard to find one used, so I'm looking into buying new. I know of KingMotorsports and Bulletproof (but they dont have the 04??). Who else is out there?

If you can't get it directly from King then you are most likely "SOL". King is the only authorized distributor/importer of Mugen items in North America. Everyone else who is an autorized retailer is just going through King. If you are talking going grey market, it's highly unlikely anyone will have one in stock. If you just want to order one, then anyone can do that for you. Just because 04 isn't listed on a website doesn't mean it's not available for order.

 

There was an 04 exhaust in stock at this shop called jdmpro in torrance. He has/had a lot of mugen parts in stock.

 

Anyone selling Mugen parts in the US got it from king motorsports. So really, king motorsports is the only distributor.

 

I believe King won't budge on the price. Does anyone know who might be able to get a deal? I'm also in the market for the 04 and up exhuast.

as i said, anyone you get the "deal" from got their product from king, so you're not going to get a cheaper price than king for a new product.

your only choice is used or knock-off.

Thanks for the replies all. I know that King is the only authorized mugen distributor. I'm looking for VENDORS, not distributors. Distributors often gouge their retail prices (ie: 03mugen exhaust @ king =$1500. same exhaust @ Bulletproof = $1425). Vendors markup their jobber cost, but its usually less that the distributor's list price. I'll try revolution and jdmpro. Thanks again!
