IMO, both are overpriced and offer little performance. what are you trying to accomplish?

I agree with that statement.

However, in all fairness, the relationship with Honda is tighter with Mugen than with Spoon. But they are both close. Think of it in this way: BMW's relationship with its performance department, Motorsport is similar to Honda's with Mugen (not factory owned but pretty tight). Whereas BMW's relationship with Alpina (Factory Approved, but with little technical help) is similar to Honda's with Spoon. This doesn't necessarily make Spoon's work inferior to Mugen. But in some circumstances, it gives Mugen a head start, whether in design, development, or durability.

Really, it depends upon your tastes and pocketbook. Neither choice would be wrong IMHO. A good idea might be to find out what the company stands for, and specializes in to make decision. The company whose beliefs closer matches what you want to do with your car might be the one to get parts from.

Spoon b/c they have Pelican loooking mascot. It'll pek the crap out of Mugen!!!

J/k, i like mugen better b/c the parts always fit perfect. I like the body kits and the intake is just bad ass. Overpriced, bling parts.
