I was just wondering if there was a quick way to tell the difference between the 2000 and the 2001 Stooks. The obvious indicators would be:

.... it has a built-in clock that you can't see anyway
.... it has fewer then 10 rock dings
.... it still has stock wheels
.... it doesn't have Rick Hesel leather accessories
.... it still has at least half of the original rubber on the tires
.... you can still see through the rear window
.... it has less than 3 door dings
.... the front chin spoiler (if installed) isn't scratched from parking bumbers yet

Any other ways?

If it's yellow!
And scratch the Rick's signature leather. I've got the console cover and shift boot waiting for Roxanne to arrive.

My S2000 is confused I guess - it's a '00, but it

...has fewer than 10 rock dings
...has stock wheels
...doesn't have any Rick accessories
...still has half its rubber
...can see through the window
...has no door dings

I have no chin spoiler and I don't care that I don't have a clock.

I guess I have some work to do this summer.

There really is no QUICK way. The S2K has to be motionless and available to inspect in order to determine 2000 or 01.
