Muz,

Just checked USPS/DHL. Their rate is only $104.00. Yikes!

Hey Muz, to you that's Aus Post. Check how much normal postage to the US is. You'll probably be surprised.

Oh..I see... I already use that. $15 Australian covers the postage and the cost of my shipping container to anywhere in the USA. That's for an individual order sent by Australia Post Economy Air. Takes about 2 weeks I'm told by those who ordered this way.

just a suggestion, but how about a US contact to make the mats in the US to avoid shipping costs? I too paid a bundle to FedEx, but the mat is a must have.

FYI - USPS = us postal service

Also, the group buys on these mats are to keep the shipping costs down. When Muz sent me the bundle for the group buy I headed, he shipped it out on Thursday and it was here bright and early the next Monday...amazing!

I just ordered mine, to be shipped to Northern California. I chose Australian Post. It didn't cost me much... and I figured I could wait a few weeks for the mat. I think shipping was about 15$ Australian. We'll see how long it takes.

I am looking forward to using it though.

Yeah.. we really don't have to get too crazy here. As mentioned just order via group buy or Aus post if shipping is a concern. Fedex if you don't care and want it in a big hurry. There's plenty of choices ... something to suit everyone already. All prices are shown on the order form so I assume people knowingly order via their chosen method.

So you're telling me that the statement I received with the mat was in Australian dollars? $170 Australian = approximately $95 U.S. I can live with that. Am I right, Muz?
