I was wondering the same thing. They mentioned it on that Frankfurt auto show article. I guess we'll have to wait for the 15th when the show starts. By the description, it will have two bubbles that go behind the roll hoops. I'm guessing something veilsideish, but hopefully more fitting for the S2000's lines. The veilside has that stupid step in the back that just throws off the whole design.

I've seen the Carbon Fibre one listed on eBay sometimes. It's some guy in Quebec selling them?

It's neat, different in some ways... but mostly lame. I don't even want to carry the soft one around, let alone a perm. one.

Can't wait to see the pics of that. I would love to have the C/F one, but it is one piece, and if it starts to rain and you have a passenger, you are SOL as there is no place to put it.

But the 06 model,is supposed to be made of three pieces, and foldable;should fit in the trunk.
I also wonder what are the colors offered.

It will probably look similar to this two-piece version for the Boxster.

Why wouldn't it fit? Nothing else has changed so there's really no reason why it wouldn't. Due to the corners of the softtop sticking up on the sides though, it will never look quite as smoothly integrated as that one for the Boxter unfortunately. Will be interesting to see anyway.

Ron, I hope you are right.

I was thinking from the standpoint of snaps/clips.

We will see soon!
