Default My 10th s2000, new project!

Greetings all! I have owned several s2000’s over the years and have loved them all. The past few years I have owned mostly BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, and Lamborghini. Yes, I love the Italian exotic sound, but I still have a soft spot for the s2000. I’ve been looking for another for a couple years. Since I’m not going to pay the inflated prices that some are asking, I was content to wait until the right one came along. finally found a clean lightly modified 2001 a month ago with oem hardtop and am starting to document my subtle modifications to it. Started with Spoon calipers and Mugen titanium exhaust, and a few more items. It will all be documented in my YouTube channel “Car Savant”. The channel is newly created, so I hope to improve on the video quality. Please check it out and let me know what you would like to see done next on it! Thanks!

Nice! I'm really pleased with Mugen quality. I have probably had just about every s2000 Mugen part at one time or another. My only complaint about the Mugen titanium exhaust is that even with a test pipe and Toda header, it is too quiet for me!

It took me a couple years to find this one. I always like the oem hard top. Most of my s2000's have had an oem hardtop. I finally found this one that was priced well and had some subtle mods and all vin panels and clean history so I went for it. Don't give up, they are out there!

Good to see that UPS delivered the Spoon calipers box in good condition.

I use the MUGEN exhaust on a NA and S/C S2000, I prefer this exhaust to any other one on the market.

Yep, the Mugen is great! Just a tad too quiet for my liking, but I'm used to loud v12's and v10's, so I really can't compare.

Great stuff!! Love the odyssey mod, surprised I haven't saw that by now.

Definitely will subscribe and follow along!

If you have any spare time, feel free to check out the 2005 S2000 rebuild I have going on.
Would love to hear some feedback about things I can improve etc.

Cheers!
