Default My 2001 S2000 was just in an accident

I am devastated!!!
My beautiful Red 01 S2000 was hit by a kid driving his parents Volvo.
He ran the red light & hit me in the front end as I was going to make a left turn.
The whole front end is destroyed.
I feel sick. I loved my car.
The car was in perfect condition, just washed & only 50K miles on it.
The insurance Co just called & told me someone will be getting back to me with the value.

How much do you think I will get?
Not sure if I should get another or something else.
There was nothing better than driving with the top down!!!

Ouch!!! I am so sorry to hear about (and see the results of) your accident!

I am going to assume (and pray) that you get a reasonable pay-out from the insurance company, and I'd suggest that you take your time and find another S2000 "gem".

It looks like your car was in sweet condition (minus today's front end accident)

Please let us know the rest of the insurance story as it unfolds.

I'd also say you will get 12k at the least. Good to hear you are okay. There are more s2000's out there. Look at this as an opportunity not a setback!

The most important part is that you walked away unharmed. Glad you are okay.

As for the car, that looks like a very serious accident to see the front end in that shape. Hopefully you will get a good price on that and move on to another S2000.

Volvo's are tanks...

Yes, I am OK, no injuries, knock on wood!
What a great car, it really protected me, the car absorbed all the force & I'm thankful for that.
Blue Book retail value is about $15K for a car like mine.
I hope my ins co. gives me a fair amount.
I'll let you guys know.

What about a 370Z as a replacement?
