Holy sheit bat-man.. u used Armor-shvt? lordy..

Look, get into 303 protectant products.... armor all is junk, crap..shit.. whatever u want to call it... its NOT good for the interior, exterior, or hell..probably the environment.

Not to promo another website...but you can get it at www.properautocare.com (I think thats the url..trying it from memory).

Either way.. Your better off spitting on a rag and rubbing than using armoral.

PLLLLEASE.. read some of the was-n-wax forum.

I just can't stand how greasy it is. But I apply it because I don't want to see my dash go to waste by the sun. Is there any other product that are as affective but easier to apply. I want something not as greasy becuase I don't want my passenger to say anything about it.

Like other's have recommended, apply 303 to your dash, but not every other day. Keeping dust and other grime off of your dash is important, but don't overdo any kind of coating on the dash. The seats are what need to be well conditioned and constantly cleaned.

303 - much less greasy, much nicer finish (better 'new' look, after a couple of days), supposed to provide UV protection. I'd never touch AA again after using 303.

I use nothing but Lexol products for the interior, I haven't used Armorall since the 70's.

Agree about not using Armorall since the 70's. Hell, back then that was the only conditioning product on the market.

I have an industry insider buddy who confirms that AA can lead to dry rot of tire rubber, and outgassing of the volatiles in vinyl that keep it pliant. He indicated that the FTC has considered moving on AA, but has not, probably bowing to industry pressure. I would not use it on a beach ball.

I am and always have been a BIG fan of distilled water for the plastic and vinyl. The leather is another story...I raid my wife's Coach leather care kit...
