You should run at least 255 on the rear, maybe even 265 on those 9" rims. Almost everyone runs 255 on the stock AP2 rims.

Ah so you ripped your name from a youtube video you saw,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfp4Py-Bbxw
Then you set out on a mission to turn a basically stock s2000 into an "s2king" making your s2ki name s2king, and your first mod is wheels. There goes 1/4 the money for a supercharger.
"turning my s2k into an s2king"
Good luck I suppose?
Not sure why you give us all your name and city you live in... Guess you don't like online privacy?

Ah so you're about to do power mods so you need wider tires amiright?
I'm not the ricer though, I don't go out and buy rims for my Honda 3 months after owning it though , but if you want to imply my oem wheels are ricer rims go for it.
Just poking fun at the fact that I clicked this thread expecting a drag car because there is already a project by that name.

From the thread title you come off as cocky. So...

A) You do not make 237 bwhp at 8300 rpms.
B) No king would be caught dead with Rotas.
C) Ksport suspension.

At least you chose nice tires.

second... never saw that video.. sorry i don't spend my time looking at other peoples cars on youtube.

and third... if you knew anything about cars you would know there are a lot more to wheels then your ricer rims. It doesn't matter how much power your car can make, if it can't put it to the ground then your slow ass isn't going anywhere. I'm looking for new wheels to put a wider footprint on the floor, hense more grip and more control.
Says the guy putting Rotas on his car...

Big dreams man, but acting the way you are isn't going to get you any help on this forum.

Congrats on your purchase bud!!! Youll fall in love with the ap1. I have an my03 silverstone. got it over a year ago all stock with all paperwork. I fell in love with the car on day one. I also got mine with 77000 miles and now have 115000. If i were you i would get a base dyno done before installing any mods, so you know what you are starting with and so you can see the improvements in the future. at around 100000 miles i ran mine on a dyno jet and put down 212WHP, and 144FTLB of torque. Do all the maintanance and take good care of er. Their is tons of great and valuable info and DIY's on this forum so take advantage of the great info and great people on S2KI!!!

To the OP, congrats on the purchase and the enthusiasm.

You might want to back down a little on the "entry onto the scene."

You are posting in a forum where SCCA National champions and trophy winners hang out. Also 500 whp turbo cars built for road racing. The first post was a little gregarious and the title and screen name was a little unfortunate. S2King is one of the builders of the fastest drag S2000s in existence (<8 second quarter mile).

"King" implies that it "rules" something. Again, the enthusiasm is great, but you might want to tone it down a little.

And as someone with three sets of 18x11 CCWs that wear 315/30/18 Hoosiers, I wouldn't be so quick to try and "educate" us on 9 inch Rotas. Just sayin'.

Go surf the FI subforum and the R&C subforum and see what we're talking about. Even a strong (non-eBay) build is >$15k+. Some people have >$30k in mods. One car has >$100k (dry carbon, fully built engine). From the outside, his car looks stock-ish. Because he's not trying to impress anyone else.

So welcome to the car and the site. Play nice, please.
