My car on EBAY - QUESTION?
I have had 5 diferent guys call me from Canada. and i have had allot of people making offers to take it off EBAY. what do you think? any of you have advise dealing with EBAY bidders?
I just recently sold my show truck on eBay.
I had a ton of watcher, a ton of people who contacted me directly and made offers, etc... I was very close to pulling the auction and selling it off eBay, but I thought better of it for a couple reasons.
1. What if there's a bidder out there waiting to bid it up at the auction end?
2. What if I take it off eBay and the buyer is nothing but a scammer?
3. What if someone eventually does the buy it now?
Well, as it turned out, I'm glad I didn't pull my auction because someone did do the buy it now. It worked out great for me!!!
I think I unintentionally put some pressure on the guy who ended up buying it though. He called me to talk about it and made another offer. I told him I'd think about it and get back to him the next day. Before I hung up with him I told him that a guy from Ireland had ordered a CarChex inspection and CarChex was coming to my house the next day, which was totally true. Well, within 10 minutes of me hanging up the phone with this guy he did the buy it now and I had the $500 deposit in my paypal. I guess he wanted to be sure to get it and not the guy in Ireland.
So, maybe you could tell one of the potential buyers that there is a guy in Ireland who ordered a CarChex, etc.... j/k

Yea I hate scammer!! Back then I reply back to the scammer and tell him to "what the hell you trying to do? Scam ME?!!!"
after that he keeps on making fake account and makes me lost my auction. Like he would bid and win then delete the account for like 3 to 4times. Then i have to stop selling for a while.
That @$$!!!
