Sorry to hear it Jen. Can you describe the sound further- location, happens whatever the surface is like, is it something caught in a wheel well or rolling around in the trunk, etc?

I've had a new noise and think it is likely something I dropped in between the cupholder and the console- got to take the carpet off the console- so maybe it's time to email Rick...

<3 <3 <3 thats for nibble well i have been under the car! yes a girl climber under her car! hey that things my baby and there is nothing that is stuck under her, and the noise started from the right back and now has moved to teh left back also, i have driven on all differnt types of surfaces and still get the noise! i hate it! 1. my car is in pain thats her crys for help! 2. it is embarrasing because when i am driving threw toen my car sounds like it is 30 years old and is about to fall apart! i just hope that they can figure out the problme, oh yeah and is isnt gas slushing aroud either because i filled my tank up yesterday and it continued. also has anyone noticed that their steering colum is coming apart? and no no one tried to steal my car they wouldnt have had a chance to, when i tried to get it back together there are little little pins that just pop in and it wont go back together! why do i have such bad luck with cars?????????????? grrrrrrrrrrr i treat this car like a queen! everyone thinks that i am crazy and obsessed with her, well i guess i am then!
<3 jen

Jen,
I bet it will be OK. You haven't identified anything loose, and haven't been hit, so whatever it is is likely repairable- and warrantied, if it is mechanical.
Your baby will be alright- trust me, I'm a doctor!

Ouch... It sounds stupid, but I have golf balls running around in my car and makes noise from left to right and back... I hope your symtoms are as simple as that. I'm sure it's not this, but many '00 s2k owners complained about noise behind passenger seat after their seatbelt TSB. It turned out, that spare tire holder was loose. For 3 pins sticking out on steering column, ??? I haven't seen anything like that before and I believe it's just matter of re-assembling steering column. And, get some sleep! will ya?

cheers,
