My car just feels off??
ok so for the past about month and a half i have been running of BALD ALL THE WAY ACROSS bridgestone potenza S03's. the car felt really planted in the dry like the tires had a lot of grip. of course in the wet i thought i was going to die. anyways i had them replaced last week the tires have about 150 miles on them now. and the car just feels very loose. its feels like something is just way out of wack. but i don't see how this could be. i mean it just feels like the car is everywhere. i think it could just be in my head. any ideas?

New tires not broken in? Something get knocked out of allignement during mounting?
the first one makes more sence. the second one would have to have been a big hit to
up something. and i watched then and they didn't do anything like that. how long do tires take to break in? i though 150miles would be good.

To show how dense I am ...
My car felt a little off last Tuesday morning, every time I shifted at highway speeds, the steering wheel pulled a bit. The car didn't seem to track quite the same, and although cornerning performance was really sticky, it just didn't feel right. I thought it was my new looser grip on the steering wheel, as I've only had the car three weeks and am still getting used to it.
Once I got to work, I did a visual check, and was pretty shocked to see the passenger rear tire pretty damned flat! (Total PSI: 4).
Sometimes its the simple stuff -- double check everything before you chalk it up to tread slop. (but I doubt you're down to 4 psi)

with Mac. this would be plausable... Jon, did you get an alignment? Are you sure they fully tightened the camber and castor bolts? Is there more camber on the car then you had before? A little difference can make a big difference in handling ,follow?

It sounds like your new tires haven't worn off all of the mold release agent, yet. Did you check your tire pressures? You may be in for a surprise (hope not). What kind of tires did you buy? Sometimes this makes a difference.
