Default Is my clutch gone

Well, the car has 84k miles on it. Just this last week, I've felt the clutch acting funny. I had a slave cylinder problem at around 55k which eventually left my car not being able to go in gear since there was a leak and that caused my car to have no clutch fluid. So what I've noticed is that this last week, the same thing has happened. My clutch isnt slipping but for me to get it into gear, I have to push the clutch all the way to the floor. I would say that it feels harder around 3 inches before its pushed in all the way. before that, it feels like the clutch just goes down easily. I could push the clutch all the way down to where around the footwell pedal is for where you can rest your foot without it engaging. Is my clutch bad or could it have some air in the line. I checked my fluid and it looked full. It just has the symptoms of the slave cylinder being bad but this time I know its not that. How do you know when a clutch is going bad. If it could possibly be the clutch, is there anything I can do for now to preserve it a bit more(special fluid, put in new fluid).. Thanks for any advice..

Just to note, before this, the clutch has been great. I dont race the car and I have alot of highway miles on it. I just don't really know the signs of when you need a new clutch. I know the slipping test and also have heard the clutch pedal getting really hard to push down, but this is kinda the opposite. Is it hard to bleed the clutch. I know I have a service manual here but havent cracked it open. How long would that take if that could resolve the problem

Try bleeding the clutch fluid first.
