Default my favorite red...

My favorite is still "Milano Red" of the 92-93 Integras and 93-96 Preludes. Its the only red I've ever seen of its kind (a dark, deep, blood like red). I actually like it more than the bright racey red that the S comes in. Can someone do a photoshop on the s2k with thsi color. Hey hey, no offense, I have a red S and love it to pieces..but, uh, ok.

Hey redleader,

Funny you should mention Milano Red. Parked right next to my New Formula Red S2000 is a 93 Milano Red Prelude. I noticed the difference in red right away between the 2 cars. Even though the Prelude is almost 10 years old, the red is so much deeper, it almost makes the S2000 look orange.

I wish they had made the S2000 in the same Milano Red.

those were my thoughts exactly. Back in 94, when I got my Prelude, I had to get it in red. I had been weary of red cars at that time because so many just turn out looking "orange" or faded after a while. In fact, some just look orange to begin with. the Milano Red really stood out because of its deepness. I dont' think any other car maker has come out with a red quite like that. My prelude is totally faded and oxidized now, what a shame. Well, the door jambs still look brand new.

I've pretty much garaged the Prelude the whole time, or put a car cover on it if it had to be parked outside.

My car still looks brand new. A lot of people come up to me and are surpised to find out how old it is. I've always taken really good car of all my cars though. I'll see if I can take a pic of both cars in the garage.

what year/model/color is your prelude? I'm noticing some "issues" with mine and maybe you can offer some insight into them.

Hey redleader,

I have a 1993 Milano Red Prelude. Like I said earlier, it looks brand new. Let me know what kind of problems your having and maybe I can help out.

As far as taking a picture, I'm not sure if you can really tell the difference in the reds in a picture. You really have to see them side by side. Anyone that wants to see the color in person is invited to come over.

I had a '95 Integra GS-R that I'm pretty sure was Milano Red. My neighbor across the street has a Prelude in that color, too. I agree, I like that deep blood red very much. The Audi TT red is nice, too.

I also love the BMW M deep red... a neighbor down the street has an M5 in this color. Love it.
