We were driving and attempted to get on the highway and merge via a straight on-ramp. I downshifted to third and gave it the beans.

She goes: "Hey, did the car just VTECed?"

I couldn't resist, I replied in my stupidest voice, "Yep, VTEC just kicked in, YO!"

She just thinks I'm the biggest idiot ever.

 

haha that is awesome. also awesome that she knows what VTEC is.

 

lol when my gf drives my car she alwayz asks me if she can take it on the interstae so she can feel vtek

 

LOL I made sure my gf knows what vtec is, when it kicks in, how much hp my car has etc... Shes catching on

i think i've only engaged vtec like 1 or 2 times with my gf in this car. she freaks out when i speed.

 

Don't speed then. Just reach the speed limit as fast as you can.

 

Sweet, my GF would just yell at me for driving too fast.
