Default My latest S2000

So I saw there was going to be an auction in western Massachusetts last weekend. It was billed as "29 high performance sports cars" and seemed to be lots and lots of Supras, with maybe 4-5 M3s thrown in for good measure. What really caught my eye, though, was a black 00 S2000 with a hardtop and red interior. Such a beautiful car, and so rare. Not to mention fewer than 4,000 miles on the odometer.

Well. I scraped some money together to get up there and bid, and came home with this. I could not be happier!

You weren’t kidding on BaT. That AP1 is a beaut. I can’t private message here yet, would love to see the rest of the collection at some time.

That was indeed the auction lilac, and you are correct there was a lot of attention and competition. I was determined to get that car because it was my white whale. I love black S2000s anyway, and the red interior was only fitted on 1,018 black cars during the entire production run, so it's really rare. Add a hardtop and under 3,800 miles, and its a pretty special car.

Sleazy Seagull we are both from RI, we should get together or connect at one of the local meets ... unfortunately I have not been to any yet this year, been stupid busy.

Wow... it ended at only $30k? Super good deal for such a mint and very low mileage example!!
