Default My light won't come off.

The light that's on the center console, beside the hand brake, the little red one. It won't go out. I have no idea why. I have an aftermarket alarm, would one of the fuses be burnt. Any suggestions.

only light on the console, that i can think of, should be the alarm activated light-

i am with minh on this-
if its the alarm light, you need to check the alarm wiring or have your alarm guy check it... if another light, maybe give us a pic of it?

It is the alarm light. It's the little red light, beside the cup holder. It's on all the time. It just started to happen, that's why I'm thinking it a fuse or something.

Under the dash there is a little switch, flip it the other way and see if the light goes out.

If it does, your car was in valet mode. If it doesnt, there is some sort of failure in the alarm. You can help up by providing what make and model alarm you have.

It's a Clifford alarm, not sure what model it is. Which side is the switch on under the dash. Is it easy to find the switch.

since it's an "aftermarket" alarm--different installers could have placed the switch in different places (or not used one at all) hard to tell
try the Electronics Forum--there's a lot of folks who hang out there who are wizards on car alarms--maybe they can help

It will be a small silver (usually) switch located under the dash

I've looked under the dash and have no idea. I'll try the electronics forum, thanks.
