check out the costal metal site.
they have a very good analysis on how the grills affect airflow and engine temp.

Once you read their site do a search on the grille and you will find plenty of opinions going both ways. Some say that it is way to restrictive others have a grille and say there's nps. It also depends on the grill pattern as you will read on the site.

Never had a problem in the hot Northeast summers. Had several stretches in the high 90's last summer and never saw more than the normal 3 bars on the temp gauge. Unless you live in the desert, you should be fine.

I installed the Coastal grill. I also replaced the faux side vents with real ones from Coastal just to ensure more air flow.
