Default My new Muz Trunk Lid Saddlebag Installed! (Pics)

I finally had a chance to install my new Muz trunk lid saddlebag and let me tell you, this is one fine accessory to have on any S2000. I use it quite a bit now for lots of things! My owner's manual is stored in the middle and I use the right hand side pocket for my digicam and batteries (works great). I use the other side for my Zaino products (never leave home without it)! And you can see that I use the loops for the storage of my Absorber!

Take a look below and consider one of these for yourself. Makes the trunk look 200% better when you open it too! It does add some weight to the trunk but the "heavy duty" springs from my rear spoiler install handle the weight just fine!

I've been considering this accessory myself - looks great!

Question, though - if I have the "light-duty" springs, and load it approximately like airgate did, will the springs have any trouble handling the weight?

Thanks for the pics...

I have no trunk spoiler and standard springs. During R&D I tested this out and the saddlebag can hold up to 5Kg with no noticeable effect on the trunk lid's ability to stay up. 5Kg is quite a lot of small objects .... unless you want to carry your gym weights under the trunk lid.

Thanks for the information, Muz.

Well actually I do carry my gym weights under the trunk lid, but luckily I'm such a wimp that I only work out with 2Kg weights!

I have the OEM spoiler and my saddlebags half full and the trunk hasn't dropped on me yet. Strong wind might send it down, but other than that it stays up very well.

I was VERY interested until I saw the price-- over $220. That is to carry some small items. I don't think so.
