Yup, I just remembered to add the camera mount too.

As far as using RA-1s, I'm a firm believer in out driving what you have before you upgrade. I want to see what the limit is on the wider street tires before I go to R compounds.

I will have some pics from a photoshoot up in a little thread sometime today. The pics don't show my new fenders cuz I didn't have the fenders on until yesterday, but those pics will be posted soon.

I dont see a front sway bar listed?

Youre gonna run 9's all the way around without upgrading your front sway bar?

Also what's your alignment? That's going to have a HUGE effect on how the car performs, especially considering the changes you made to the control arms.

Overall things look decent but I think it will take a while to get the car where you want it.

I've been through a lot of alignments this year. The car was setup beautiful on my last alignment when I had AP1 wheels. My current alignment was my best guess settings after I put on the non-staggered setup. I did a track day at Gingerman, and the car felt great, but a few more tweaks to the alignment will make it easier to drive. It was very neutral during track out, but if I dove in too hard, the tail would step out. Most of that was just user error, though.

My current alignment:

F:
Caster: 6.0
Camber: -2.0
Toe: 0

R:
Camber: -3.1
Toe: .10 in

I am pretty happy with the way the car handles, but I'm going to change the camber stagger a bit once I play around with the new front upper arms.

Next aligment:

F: camber: -2.7
R: camber: -3.4

I thought that if you go non-staggered you either have to stiffen the front or loosen the rear

Not what I have seen. Amuse and J's and a few others (including our own MaxRev) all seem to use stock bars with the non-staggered setup. There isn't pronounced oversteer, its managable, and definitely can be fixed with more alignment tweaks.

Sounds like you should be in Modified class.

Anyway, congrats on the win.

You had the C-West wider front fenders So your car technically was not legal for the Redline Time Attack Street class- http://www.redlinetimeattack.com/index-2.html

Sounds like you should have been in Modified class.

Anyway, congrats on the win. Just remember that other racers who follow the class rules will be watching closely. Rules are intended to make classes fair to everyone participating.
Hey, buddy, those are all new rules for this year. They added A LOT of new rules this year. They were very aware of all my mods (my front under tray went back under the engine) last year, and my car was legal for street class.

My source is Redline's technical inspector who confirmed and I'm pretty sure that's not the case however I'll edit it for you. The rules were put in place before the Summit Point event as they also changed the car classing at the same time for a few vehicles which put mine into another class.

Either way, nice S2k and hope to see you out in Sept.
