Did you break-in the gears before driving hard on them? There is a break-in milage (around 700) in which you gradually take the car up in rpms...

 

The s2000 comes with 4.1... if you really want the car to have some balls, go with 4.77

 

Sorry as i was away for the weekend. S2KMiami, Yea my name is Eddie. Ten blade i hadent broken them in yet, which is why i hadent really spoken to much of them, just my intial impressions.

I broke them in tho and all i gotta really say is the car is just str8 up quick. Any one with a camara who wants to go for a race in the Miami area, Lemme know wussup perhaps we can get something posted on here.

 

I see you have an 05 like me, what are your revs at in top gear between 80/85 on the highway? Are you in Vtec yet or just below?

Lol, S2KMiami, i appraise yea. S2KShift to be honest, i havent recalibrated my speedometer, i have the yellow box but my installer didnt have the GPS he said he needed. I mean i just leave it below 4500 hundred RPM'S and i estimate about 70-75 mph, i could be completly wrong but whutever, as long as my rpm's are correct i'll manage.
