shaky rearend? you sure it is the rearend and not your axles? A diff would of gave way in less than 6 months.

the car sounds heavily abused.

^i agree. the s2000 wasn't built to be a drag car. a few hard launches at the tree and you can kiss the rearend goodbye.

Drive shaft replaced? maybe warped or maybe out of balance. Was the drive shaft new or used? Did the car shake before replacing the drive shaft?

looks like someone learned the hard way that the s2000 should not be at the drag strip. unless you got lots of money to fix the diff. every 10 runs or so.

If the car is shaking with problems, why would you take it to the track and abuse it to the extreme?

Doesn't make sense.

I just don't understand... You knew you had a shaky rearend but still took it drag racing. I can't imagine the stress your diff was taking especially since you already were having problems back there.

Not to be rude, but you say the first owner didn't take care of the car, I don't think you are taking care of the car as well. Anyways, good luck with repairs.

It's like going to a horse race with a horse that's been shot in the rear... it whimpers all the way but you keep racing it? Really sad.

I hope everything works itself out for the best.

You are a large bag of doosh.

Next time, drag it with a flat tire and see what happens
