Default my s2000 doesnt feel right anymore

well, a few months back i had hydrolocked my car. Had it towed to Honda (where I purchased the vehicle) and expected the worst. Turned out they said they just needed to flush the engine a couple of times and change the oil 3 or 4 times...I asked that they run a compression test but the technition said they didnt need to, it was running fine.....
well, my friend is a manager at a jiffy lube and he ran the compression test for me. It turns out it was ok also.....but these days everytime i drive it feels like the power just isnt there anymore....maybe i've just gotten used to the car and just paranoid now? I've read somewhere if it feels like the rpms are reving a lot faster than the car is moving, then the clutch could be going bad...but I just don't know...I keep trying to reassure myself that i'm just paranoid.....any suggestions?
Thanks,
TonyJ

well if the increasing rpm and vehicle speed aren't linear, then you probably just have a slipping clutch. how many miles do you have and what model year is it?

Do you smell the clutch? That would be a very good indication of whether or not it is slipping. BTW what the heck is a hydrolock, anyway?

Sounds to me it is just a placebo effect you are having You will know if the clutch starts to slip.

dont forget about the weather factor. i see you live in GA. as the weather gets hot and muggy, your going to see a decrease in performance over your cooler 40 and 50F winter weather.
