Hello ladies and gents. Picked up a new to me 2002 Ap1, almost a year now. Seldom do i drive it but when i do to just get groceries, home depot runs, it never fails. Someone always says “dude/bro love your car”.

I live in so so. Cal so lots of convertibles here but my S stands out. If its not raining, the top is down.

Yeah, its crazy how much people like these cars.

I live on a corner of 2 streets and the driveway connects both of them...

There's these two kids that can't be more than like...12yrs old. They skateboard down my driveway every weekend in the summer and take photos of my S2000 if its parked outside.

The MF car is like 9 years older than them!

Older people like them too...some like 70 year old dude started talking to me ab the car at a gas station once.

Its got a pretty wide appeal.

 

Everyone wants to buy my car. They leave notes and business cards on the windshield and shit. lol

 

…and say ‘’Nice Miata ‘’…

 

Though the shit may be birds ?

 

Yeah I get compliments from other cars while on the road with thumbs up & people yelling nice car. What shocks me the most is how much the young generation ages 13+ are really excited about the s2k.

 

I get that, but very rarely... actually happened last time at Popeyes drive thru, lol. "Nice Miata!"

I mostly get compliments at a drive-thru by the cashier, 90% of the time.
And, other times, mostly while gassing up at Costco.

Sometimes, I get cute females running up and saying, "nice s2k" or "I admire your s2000" ...of course, I like those ones the most.

 

At a drive-thru with my co-pilot, and the guy at the window said wow an S2000. In yellow even. I love the S2000. Then later another employee looks out and says nice Miata. The window guy then said that's a big boy's Miata, that's an S2000.

 

Same here. Every time I get it out I get a thumbs up, or a "nice car" or similar. Usually have random people rev at me too lol

Everyone likes an s2000.

 

High school teacher - I don't always drive my 04 S2K to school but the kids all know I have one. The HS kids worship that car. Not that I'm in it for the investment but that seems to me a good sign that they will remain highly valued.
