Default MY s2k is a bugjuice magnet...

I'm serious, every couple of days I drive her on the freeway I get these huge splots of yellow and green on my windshield from some fat bugs. I just got done with a 50minute drive on I-5 and the result was 3 big juicy bugspots on my windshield and some on the bumper near the hood. Mind you I was messing with a 240sx and a Transam at 90mph but I still get bug splats at way lower speeds. I'm really anal about clean windshields so it drives me crazy I never noticed this with my previous cars, maybe the bugs like the s2k. Also any way to get rid of hard water spots on the window?

well it will get a lot worse as summer comes.
with my Llumar protective film on my bumper...it is much easier to wipe off all the nasty bugs.

I agree 100%
My drive to work is on a loop around the city at 65 mph and takes me about 10 - 12 minutes. I drive back home for lunch and have to wash my windshield, then again after I get back home from work I do it again. I'm guessing it is the spring flowers etc. that is causing all the bugs! I don't get too many big splats but it usually looks like crap with all the little ones until I clean it.
As for as the hard water spots go, we have real hard water here also and a strong amonia/water solution will usually rub them out.

This car collects the most bugs out of any car I have ever had. Since it's not the slickest form in the wind tunnel I'm guessing the upright windshield makes it a little hard for the bugs to avoid a head on collision vs. just blowing over.

Think if you lived/drive near water. These is from a 30 minute drive last summer along a canal.

Yup, the upright windshield is definitely a bug magnet. I drove from Philly to Williamsburg, VA and back this weekend. My car is covered in liquified bug carcasses. . . it's gross.

Just wait til the bugs start getting revenge by tossing asteroids at our cities, like in Starship Troopers...

(my handle is from the wacky racers cartoon, not because i like insects.)
