I was sick of the windscreen vibrating back and forth and leaning forward out of center, so I came up with this fix. Just did this today. Though it looks cludged, it does the job. Believe it or not, that foam is suppose to be black! I may take it off later.

 

I've been studying and thinking about osciallation issue for some time, since I've observed it on my own car with my own product. Your solution does get at the physics involved from the right angle.

I'll be posting pictures and instructions later today for what I think is a better, simpler, and more permanent for windscreen oscillation fix.
