alright guys, i am willing to make a switch because i do want power, but i don't wanna drop 1k$ for exhaust again or spend much money do so.

now i want some straight answers here, my friend just went with the t1r 70mm exhaust and testpipe today, so i'll be able to see running against him what it will do against my set up soon.

also, is the veilside titanium teardrop exhaust 70mm? and where is a good 70mm test pipe i can order from as well? links would be much appreciated.

I have to leave the office now and go to night school... But I'll look back at this thread later and try and help out... I would also try the 230 rwhp thread in the jdm tuning forum also

haha well i am willing to make the switch. but the info i gained from this thread is not what i necisarily wanted to hear. who wants to hear that their 1k$ exhaust system lost power? talk about a kick in the balls. but i would love to be making more power. and i am willing to do what it takes, can i get the info on what i asked earlier about the veilside single titanium exhaust, and test pipe? and some links of different 70mm exhausts please

Tuning with a VAFC will really help out and get the most out of the mods you put on your car.

How much power should you expect? More than you put down when you were stock. Don't expect anymore than that or you will be disappointed.

Mmm ... i don't want to sound skeptical but based on those mods I'm really not sure you're going to see a whole lot if any gains for top hp. You might get some mid-range improvements.

Also, you mentioned tuning? I don't see anything listed in your mods that would allow for any tuning? As mentioned earlier, a VAFC might allow you to squeeze some gains out of your setup.

Also re: the exhaust. Somebody suggested a T1R70. I have the T1R63 and am very happy w/ it. For your setup i don't think you're going to get any more from the 70 than you would from the 63, and the 63 is several hundred dollars less. You'd be better off using the difference to pick up a VAFC maybe.
