I just got the call from my dealer
MY2001 Yellow/black
JHMAP11431T002248
and it's in "pre-ship" status, which is probably another way of saying it's still gonna be a while.

I traded my silver one in the middle of November. I'm driving a Miata until my new car comes in. No offense to Miata owners, but 3 weeks of driving this 92' Miata really makes me appreciate the S2K.

I received my VIN #1785 last week (white/red). Still waiting.
JMark: Our build dates were both the same day 11/10. I know you'll post when your car arrives. I'll do the same! I'm curious if we get them around the same time.

Hey guys-
My build date was 11/3. I just got off the phone with my dealer and he thinks the car will be in before X-mas. Guess if he's right you guys should have your by New Years!

How did you get your VIN#? My dealer in West Palm said that it was against the law to release the VIN before the car arrived. Has anyone ever heard that before?

I hope your car comes back as good as new. After I had my accident, the repairs were done very well but I always knew that it was not perfect anymore. I'm hoping for a mid Jan. delivery. You should have your car back before then.

My dealer in Ft. Lauderdale called yesterday with my VIN#. He said it was just assigned a VIN, and that the car was in "pre-ship" status. I don't see why your dealer can't give you your VIN, they get a print out of their assigned vehicles. Also, I need the VIN before delivery to have all my finances and insurance situated.
