Default MY00-01 Driver Side mat with One floor anchor

well as you all know all the MY00-01 were shafted with only one floormat anchor on the left side, which actually doesnt do anything at all. its getting really annoying now, my mat slides up to the left cause my floor mat to develop this natural crease and and everytime i straighten it out the flap by the pedals practically touches.

i know there the MUZ full one piece mat, but i really do love the style of the OEM floor mats. im just wondering what you guys do to prevent or fix this annoyance. i tried tape for a while but it only worked for about 5 times of me getting in and out of my car.

is it possible to buy 02+ up mats, but the additional floor anchor, cut and slap another floor mat with two anchors on? just seeing if this is the only possible way of me being able to keep the OEM style

thanks guys.

Yep, it's possible to install the 2nd anchor and then buy new style floor mats with the two holes in them.

I upgradede to the '02 -03 matts, added the second anchor and voila.......it really makes a difference.

AND the dealership just handed me the extra anchor (Pacific Honda) for free!!!!

I guess it helps that I'm in there every week buying supplies to do my maintenance jobs, huh.
