Default MY00 Stock Shift Knob?

Hey,

I tried to use search, but all search has done for me all day, no matter what I type in, is display the same list of posts (don't know what's wrong).

I wanted to know what type of shift knob came on the MY00-01's? Are they just unwrapped aluminum?

Thanks,
Matt

Just the bare alluminum one. 02-03 came with the leather wrappped one. Then 04-05 has the bare one again.

Theres a titanium bare one that looks like the alluminum one floating around on some cars but I think that was an upgrade option

What is the difference (besides the metal and its properties) between the bare aluminum and the titanium one? I understand how the titanium is physically different, I just want to know if it is aesthetically different.

Thanks,
Matt

the 04-05's have the leather wrapped one except the leather is not perfporated. The bare one is an option for $75.

As for the original question, yeah I think it was the bare aluminum one.

titanium is a more expensive material and i think it's heavier (i don't have one so don't know, but others have stated it gives the shifter a better feel)

I have the oem Titanium 120.00 from Hardtop Guy......it is heavier and imo

make the shifts crisper because of the weight. It fits my hand better too....

That is why I want the titanium one! I am just wondering is there any difference in the LOOK of the titanium one over the bare aluminum ones?

Thanks!
