Default MY03 costs more than an MY04?

Has anyone seen this? I saw an ad from a local dealer for an 03 and 04. The 04 MSRP is 32,800 and the 03's is 33,060. How can this happen? Is this possible?

I suspect the '03 includes the destination charge (I forget the technical term), while the '04 does not. MSRP for an '03 is 32,600 or so, with a 460 dollar destination charge. Assuming the '04's destination charge is the same, that works out to be about 33,260 or so.

Don't quote me on the numbers, I'm pulling them from memory!

It is because you are buying more water with the 04. Since water is cheap. They can make the watered versions cheaper.

NAtional Base Price at Edmunds lists lists $32,800+ $460 destination = $33,260 MSRP. They didn't have an invoice price listed for some reason.

How clever!

Of course, if you insist on playing the same old tune again, one could say that MY03 prospects are not very smart.

When will this end?

I have driven 3 00-03 s2000's. I drove a 200 with AEM CAI and dual N1 mufflers and the rear section, I have driven a stock 02 Spa, and I have driven a stock 03. I can honestly attest that I think my 04 suzuka pulls harder than any of the 3 the modded one included. Watered down ehhhhh!

See that is a bias opinion because u own a 04.
