ya think? by OEM standards, i think they are pretty light actually. OE wheels have to deal with all sorts of mfr tests and pothole simulations that aftermarket doesn't, and forging would add cost no sports cars in this class (and perhaps even a Porsche) can cover. My NSX wheels were not forged, and were Enkei's.

 

For OEM 17's I think they're pretty light. I wouldn't be suprised if my Accord's stock 16's weigh more.

 

Ok, so what do the stock 16's weigh?

 

Actually the link I posted has both MY04 and MY00-03 wheel and tire weights in it.

 

I weighed stock MY02 rear wheel + tire and it was 45lbs. S02 tires around 25-27 lbs so pretty sure it's around 20lbs as well. Rear 17 inch ce28n + RE050A tire = 38 lbs.
