I have an 04 GPW w/ OEM lip and my car is about to get painted, so I wanted to know how AIRWALKER sides look with the OEM lip look? Should I do it?

S2000GT use to have that same setup on his silverstone...do a search for his car. He now has different setup and looks awesome. I believe couple of other members have that setup as well but don't know there sn.

I was in the same boat...decided not to do it.

 

Two choices:#1=Feels
#2=Airwalker

none of those side will flow ...,

most of the sides will be lower than the oem lip ya need something thats even

 

Blackfx35 is correct - I did have the AW sides and OEM lip combo for a while.

These are the only pics of mine I can find right now with Airwalker sides.


They do fall lower than the OEM lip - it got REALLY annoying to me so I changed out the whole front end. The first pic is deceptive, but you can see the difference a little on the second pic. from a side on view it is really noticeable.

If you are keeping the oem front I definately would NOT do Feels sides - they are even lower - go for something like the comptech.

What color are you painting the car? Why lose the best color available?

thanks for the heads up everyone. I really like the look S2000GT w/ the airwalker sides. Don't really see anything else that will match the OEM lip than that.

Anyone have pics w/ other sides?

Highrpmek: keeping it the same color but got into a accident and they have to paint the driver side, so I should do all at once so the paint code match better.
