Default MY04 windshield frame tape.

this sux. i just compared the pics of the my04 jdm s2000 with the usdm s2000, and apparently, if the photos are correct, the jdm version doesn't have the windshield tape whereas the usdm version does!!! arg!!! the car looks so much better without the black tape!! i know you can remove the tape yourself, but with half the vehicles the paint under the tape have blemishes...

The photos do not always represent the way cars are delivered. The advertising has always shown the tape at times (with black top up) and removed it at others (hardtop or top down). Don't assume anything before you get the car.

If it bothers you that much, just take the tape off.

At a recent meet, a couple of people commented on the fact that I had the tape on, and that this looked better than the more recent model that comes with no tape. Odd comments I thought - don't think it makes too much difference personally.

the car looks better with the tape ON, especially if you dont have a hard top. with the tape off, it makes the car look "taller" than it really is...

They do come black from the factory... if you have a Berlina, no tape.

You can always replace the tape if the paint is screwy underneath.
