Default MY05 got hit. Need help. PICS

It happened today 2 seconds away from my house. I was approaching a stop sign at about 10mph. The street turns a little to the right before you would approach the stop sign. As I was approaching the stop sign, a big Dodge Ram 1500 drifted into my lane. He was making a left when I was approaching the stop sign trying to make a right . I hit the brakes and stoped fully 5 feet away from the sign. I also attempted to honk but it was too late if I did. I tried to put it into reverse but as soon as I got it into gear, he hit me. It was about a 5mph collision.

I got out furious but kept my composure. He knew that I was mad as hell and it looked like he was afraid I was going to get physical by the way I was just pacing around.

Turns out he wasn't paying attention because he was looking at another House's palm trees. I got in touch with his INS. company and everything is supposeibly solved. I have an appointment with the INS adjuster on May 26.

I will be demanding a new bumper, headlight bracket, head light, driver fender be repainted, and teflon coating. Head light was pushed back and head light bracket is bent. I wonder if the tabs for the head lights are broken?

I will be getting my work done at the dealership. I am pissed as hell b/c my not even 1 month old S got hit. At least it isn't bad.

You guys ever been in an accident with he S? Was it ever the same again?

Damn!! That's a lot of damage for a 5mph collison!! But from the looks of it, it doesn't look bad enough where it'll change the feel of driving your S after repairs, unless your engine was sitting next to you after the collison.

You will be fine, if the insurance company is paying for it than there isnt really anything to worry about.

MAn, that was the first thing I though about. THE PAINT! I know yellow in general will be hard as hell to match plus they have to paint some of the car to blend it in. THEY HAVE TO PAINT A CAR THAT HAS NEW PAINT I hate that fact. It was a perfect and brand new car until someone elses mistake was my misfortune. I guess thats why i'm so mad.

At least I'm not that anxious for the HT to come in(2-4weeks) anymore because I need to get this repaired.

i got in an accident a month ago...damages were very similar (exact same spot almost), but it was more like a 10mph collision and it was a bit worse. i just got it back yesterday -- it looks better than it did before the accident. they did a great job with the paint (briefly looking at it), and i have a metallic. i'm guessing there are no structural damages...so i'd say don't worry worry about it. just hope that it takes shorter than a month to fix...damn that was a long month.
