MY06 Seat Weight Sensor question

The sensor on the passenger seat cannot be moved or anything. It is a control box on the bottom of the seat along with a weight sensor on each rail. Because of that it cannot be transfered over. I was going to put a second seat but because of this I did not. There is one user in SoCal who put 2 seats but lost all airbags because of it.

On the driver's side the sensor is just a position sensor so that can be removed from the factory rail and placed under the bucket seat. hope this helps.

Could you get a second drivers side box and clip that to the passenger side?
