yeah i used to wait like 5 minutes to warm up the car but after i got opinions from this board, i let the car idle for a minute or so and drive very slowly until the car reaches operating temp, but remember that even if you have 3 "bars" on the temperature gauge...u still need to wait 10 minutes or so to get the engine oil temp to operating temp too(important if you like to use VTEC often).

 

I stay out of VTEC to save gas.

I cruise in my neighborhood in 1st gear at 30mph. Talk about wasting gas!
