Let it be known when they see your detector you get the ticket..... Just getting ready to go to 9k. My detector was screaming and I was dreaming and it was too late. Traffic school here I come..... In April my S2000 will be two....

 

If there was ever any indication I was going to get pulled over I would yank the detector off my windshield and throw in under my seat. Your just asking for a ticket if you leave it in place.

 

Not really. I've been pulled over with a detector powered on before, and I was just warned.

However, I was pulled over by the same cop again, a few months later, but he wasn't so forgiving. He remembered me alright.
