Did you just go in and say you need new tires? I unluckily had 2 punctured rear tires. Took it to Les Schwab Tires to get it patched, but the rim had cut up the insides. They wouldn't put it back due to some safety law, which forced me to buy 2 new whatever Toyo tires for more than stock Bridgestone prices.
You drove the tire flat. The rim ate the inside of the sidewalls.

i went to honda today to pick up a set of the CR clear side markers and found out i had not 1 not 2 but 3 screws in my rear left tire! i hate when people are irresponsible and leave them out for people to drive over instead of putting them away or disposing of them. they couldn't patch it so i had to buy a new tire. oh well, sh!t happens.
That sux . Same happen to me . Cost me about 300 for two new loops.
I still can't understand how a nail stands itself up on its head to puncture a tire.

Cost me $400 + to replace OEM rear tires with PS2's. I had 12K on the car and the tires were in great shape except where the nail went in under the ply and caused bubbles in the caseing.

It doesn't. If just has to be picked up. The process of driving the car drives it home.

i work on an industrial road, and i've gone through two rear tires in 8000 miles. one of my current tires has a patch in it. i wish they'd clean the street every month or so, but they let me do it for them.

the snow tires dont have any problem though--i think the tread depth of the summer tires may be part of the problem. i'd bet they're a bit tackier as well.
