Default Naughty Dealership - Help Needed!

You may have been following iamjosh's saga with Rusty Wallis Honda in Texas. Basically, they sold him a car that's classified as a lemon, likely in violation of at least one law. They're giving him the runaround instead of a refund as they should. You can read all the details here if you haven't already

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...T&f=1&t=258954

Well, we think it's time to put a little pressure on the dealership. Basically, we want them to know that we know what they've done and that it's all over the internet. So, we'd appreciate it if you could either call or E-mail the dealership. We don't want to be disrespectful or insulting; just let them know that it's being publicized and ask them to do the right thing - give him his refund.

Here's the dealership's contact info:

Ronnie Robertson: General Manager - RonnieRobertson@rustywallis.com
Dealership phone number: 214-348-7500
Address: 12277 Shiloh Rd, Dallas, 75228

Thanks all!!!

Thanks Strike! And thanks to everyone who takes a few minutes out of their day to help a fellow S2K owner out. Hopefully this strategy will help to resolve this whole issue, because as of right now they don't seem to be trying to fix the problem. Once again, thanks to everyone who has given me advice over the past week and helped me out during this stressfull time.

Josh

Email sent. I'm in Ft. Worth, TX if you need someone to dress up as a lawyer - I can pull just about anything off.

For that matter, I have a very good friend that's a lawyer if you need a helping hand. A quick call from him does wonders.

Email sent.

BTW: I mentioned that I interpreted this as likely being an honest mistake, and he could gain a great deal of favorable publicity from this. Personally, I wouldn't want Josh's problems compounded by scores of threatening letters to the dealer.

Another suggestion: If anyone really benefits from using spell check, it would be a good idea to use it before sending a letter or email.

Definitely no threats or insults. Be professional and respectful. BTW, I got a reply back from Mr. Robertson. Basically just states the same stuff they've been telling Josh about the investigation and what not. Keep the pressure on. We do want them to know this is being seen by a large audience. Them being worried about bad publicity is the one thing Josh has on his side short of a potential drawn out lawsuit.

"Mr Robertson,

It has come to my attention that one of our fellow S2000 owners' request of full refund has not been processed promptly.

After researching various lemon laws and regulations in regards to manufacturer buyback automobiles. I have come to the conclusion that Josh's demand of full refund is legally warranted.

Josh and I both belong to the S2000 International forum which has ten thousands plus members across the world, I urge you to quickly resolve this matter to Josh's satisfaction.

Thank you for your attention to this matter."

This is my emaill to Mr Robertson. I think it is quite professional.

Agree?
