I'm curious how the rear window held up over all those years in storage. That is the one thing about that model year that I might be looking to change unless you are literally planning to put it in storage as an investment. Although, if I had a hardtop to use then I might just leave it be for the time being. I have an oem hardtop and I must say it really is nice to have. Not that it gets used all that much, but it is hanging in the garage on a harken hoist and it is a 5 minute job to put it on. Its nice to have in the early spring and late fall. It fits well, its quiet, and it improves interior comfort and visibility quite a bit over the rag top.

Beautiful car. I'm also interested in what you ended up paying if your are inclined to share that info as many of the members here have. I have been seriously tempted to buy a second low mileage ap1 to hold in storage and bring out as my last hurrah when I finally retire. So far I have resisted the temptation.
