Default Need advice on Neuspeed exhaust install

I got a Neuspeed exhaust, version 2, that is missing a hanging hook (broken off) where the resonator is. However the four hooks on the canisters are still in tack. Is it possible to safely drive the car with this exhaust installed without this hook or should a new one be welded in its place? It doesn't seem that this part of the exhaust has any load-bearing on it.

Any advice??? Also, can someone recommend a good muffler shop for installs and maybe some welding in Southern California?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone know a place that can replace these hooks for a reasonable price?

It's probably fine to drive that like for a while. But I'd get something put on there. Any muffler shop should be able to take care of it. But you might want to call around to see if there's a shop that can do stainless welds.

You might want to talk to your SPUGEN contacts in CALI to see if they might have a recommendation for you. They custom make exhausts, so they should be able to help you. PM AHHVTEC(sp.)
