Default Need advice with Project Car

To make it short: I've been a s2ki.com member for ages, and I used to own a 1st generation S2000 with nice black powdercoated wheels. The car met its fate against the wet armco of a french motorway about a year ago.

But I publish a car-related magazine here in the UK so I haven't been short of vehicles to drive since (the best one? I'd say either RR Phantom or Aston DB9 ).

Now I'm getting a 'long term' loan car from the Honda Press Office, i.e a car that I keep for 6 months instead of the usual few days/weeks.
I've managed to convince them to let me modify the car slightly, but it has to be 'reversable' mods, as I have to give them the car back in the shape it came.

Here is what I plan to start with, any advice is welcome:

- Change the wheels and tires. I want simple black wheels, maybe Volks or BBS. Do you know who makes nice black wheels, or will I have to powdercoat some silver ones?

- Lower the car a tiny bit. Who does good springs?

- Get some bigger brakes. My ex-gf works with Akebono in Japan, and they have a S2000 set. So I will get those I think - blue calipers!

- Change the color of the car: I have the best wrapping people in the UK helping me (www.vanwraps.co.uk), and I want to do a Matt grey wrap. with a few graphics maybe (see image)

What else could I do that could be reversable??

just out of curiosity, why are you changing the brakes? the brakes on a stock S2000 are known to be very very good.

rather than replace the brakes, exchange the heavy (55lb) exhaust for a lighter one. for example, you could purchase an Amuse Dual Titan exhaust which weighs just 7lbs. use it until you return the vehicle, and then let me buy it off you for dirt cheap.

it makes the most sense to me.

(oh poo, you're in Europe. well... sell it to some lucky S owner over there instead. )

The idea of the Akeboneo brakes is:
a/ to have nice blue calipers
b/ to see if they work better
c/ to promote my ex-gf's company (she designed the Akebono logo)

But an exhaust is probably a good idea..

It seems that the image didn't appear in my original post - I'll try again.
